Episode 604 Governor Ron DeSantis is a First Class Father and 46th Governor of Florida. Prior to becoming Governor, he served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida's 6th district from 2013 to 2018. He graduated from Yale University and Harvard Law School. Governor DeSantis joined the United States Navy in 2004, where he was promoted to lieutenant before serving as an advisor to SEAL Team One and being deployed to Iraq in 2007. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and other awards for his service. Governor DeSantis is the most Pro-Father and Pro-Family person in politics and recently signed groundbreaking legislation to support involved Fatherhood in Florida. In this Episode, Governor DeSantis shares his Fatherhood journey which includes three children. He discusses the family scare of his wife Casey’s breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and how he managed it as a husband, father and Governor. He describes the importance of having a father in the home, the Fatherless Crisis and the recent legislation he signed to attack the crisis. He talks about the scary time for parents right now and how they can fight back against school systems targeting our children with sexual ideologies that have no place in the classroom.
