- A vehicle incident and confrontation at Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, involving Ayman Ghazali (also reported as Ayman Ghazaleh) of Dearborn Heights. Security responded, and the suspect was fatally shot; no congregants or students were harmed.
- A shooting at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia, where Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, a former Army National Guard member previously convicted in 2016 for attempting to provide material support to ISIS (released Dec 2024), opened fire in Constant Hall. One person was killed, two injured (including ROTC members who helped stop the threat). The FBI is investigating as an act of terrorism.
